Young palaeontologist fossil experience 7-14yrs

Give the gift of deep-time discovery to a young fossil fanatic.
This 1.5 hour experience Guided by a professional palaeontologist, each young palaeontologist will explore genuine fossil material, try their hand at careful fossil cleaning, and create their own plaster casts using moulds taken from real specimens.
Every student takes home the fossil they clean and the cast they make — a unique reminder of their day as junior palaeontologists.
This workshop is designed to inspire curiosity, reinforce curriculum learning, and give students a rare opportunity to handle the deep past in a working science lab.

Please note that our Palaeontology Lab is currently under construction and is expected to be completed by Spring 2026. All voucher holders will be contacted to arrange their booking. Once the experience has launched, descriptions and session times may be subject to change.
