Terms and Conditions
1. Introduction
Welcome to Exotic Zoo . By accessing or using our website and
purchasing our experiences, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms
and Conditions. If you disagree with any part of these terms, please refrain from
using our website or booking our services.
2. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including but not limited to text, images, logos, and
graphics, is the property of Exotic Zoo or its content suppliers and is protected by
applicable intellectual property laws. Unauthorized use of any content may violate
copyright, trademark, and other laws.
3. User Obligations
By using our website and services, you agree NOT to:
-Engage in any unlawful or fraudulent activities.
-Transmit or distribute viruses or any other harmful code.
-Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or networks.
-Use the website in a manner that could impair its functionality or interfere with
other users.
4. Experiences at Exotic Zoo
When booking an experience at Exotic Zoo, you agree to the following terms:
-Bookings and Payments: Booking a date for your experience is done either
over the phone, email or social media, we do not have an online booking
system. Full payment must be made at the time of booking unless stated
otherwise. Any bought vouchers are valid for 12 months.
-Vouchers will be dispatched to the address specified within approximately 1 –
3 working days. We shall not be held liable for any delays in delivery once we
have dispatched your vouchers. It is your responsibility to ensure that the
information supplied to us is accurate before making any purchase. We are
only responsible for issuing tickets in accordance with the information you
provide when booking.
Cancellation and Refunds: Voucher cancellations and refunds can only be
given within 28 days of the original purchase date.
Rescheduling: We allow one rescheduling of an experience free of charge.
Further changes to your experience booking will incur a £5 admin charge.
Please ensure you read the following before visiting us.
When you do have an arranged date and time booked with us, please note we
cannot guarantee individual animals will be available to meet during the experience.
Please advise and inform us if there are any additional requirements including a
disability, pregnancy, diet or immuno-suppression which may require the experience
to be varied or changed.
Carers or personal assistants may book experiences on behalf of a guest with a
disability with their permission. Concessions will be applied to carers on admission to
the zoo. The carer may be admitted to support during the experience but will not be
‘participating’ in the experience unless full price is paid to participate.
All participants under the age of 18yrs must be accompanied by a full paying adult
18+ as part of the experience.
We are committed to safeguarding and the protection of children whilst they enjoy
their visit to the zoo. We do not believe our animal experiences are deemed as
regulated activity as governed by the Secretary of State’s statutory guidance on
supervision of activity by workers with children. However, we do request that ALL
CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF 18 MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY A FULL
PAYING ADULT AS PART OF ANY ANIMAL EXPERIENCE, as part of our own
Safeguarding Policy to always ensure adequate supervision.
Exotic Zoo reserves the right to alter, reschedule or cancel an animal experience at
any time without prior notice in the interest of animal welfare. If an experience is
cancelled, we will offer a rescheduled date or alternative animal experience.
We reserve the right to ask any participant to leave the experience or the zoo
premises should they behave in an inappropriate or unsafe manner.
Additional Information
-Please wear suitable clothing for working with animals and for all weather
conditions. Do wear long trousers which you don’t mind getting dirty and bring
waterproof clothes in case it rains and sunscreen if your experience is booked
to take place in summer.
-Please wear suitable footwear - no open-toed shoes! You will be entering
enclosures which may require you to dip your shoes in disinfectant, and you
may get mucky!
-All animal experiences are subject to change without notice. Including if
circumstances dictate, such as bad weather or the health status of an animal.
We will always do our best to offer alternatives or we can reschedule for
another date and time at no additional cost.
-Direct contact is not guaranteed on any of the animal experiences.
-A reasonable level of fitness is required to take part in animal experiences.
-Experiences are not suitable for those allergic to dust, animal fur or bedding.
We will do our best to accommodate late arrivals, however this time may be
deducted from your experience.
-Your keeper will collect you at reception at the time stated on your booking.
-You are welcome to explore the rest of the zoo after/before you have
completed your experience.
-Due to security, we are unable to hold bags or belongings for visitors.
Entry tickets
Entry tickets can either be purchased from reception upon arrival to Exotic Zoo or by our online booking system.
Entry gift vouchers can be purchased from our website and are valid for 12months
from the date of purchase. The entry voucher can be handed to reception when you
arrive.
Adult entry means a person aged 16+.
Child entry means a person ages 2-15 (under 2’s are free)
Concession means a person over 65+, disabled adults and children
Carer means a person caring for the disabled adult or child they are with and also foster carers.
Children will not be permitted entry into the zoo without an adult.
Opening times
We are open every day 11am-4pm (Last entry at 3.30pm). We have a weekday
winter closure from Christmas day until February half term, where we are only open

5. Parking
We are based in the Telford Town Park, meaning we have 2 directions you can find
us.
Dark Lane Car Park (Hinkshay Road) TF4 3GZ
This will bring you to our main entrance. Where you can find the closest Car Park to
us. Please note, this is a council ‘Pay and Display’ Car Park, that currently
accepts CASH payment on the machine, or you can pay by app MiPermit.
This Car Park is FREE for Blue Badge holders, provided you are parked in a valid
disabled bay.
Exotic Zoo is not liable for any damage to a vehicle parked in Dark Lane Car Park
which is a council-run car park, meaning we cannot be held legally responsible for
any damage that occurs to your car while parked there. If there is evidence of
negligence like a known hazard that has been failed to be addressed, please contact
Telford and Wrekin Council.
Please note: there are limited spaces available at peak times. For alternative
parking please use the Town Centre Car Parks.
Telford Town Centre (Southwater or Brown Elm) ‘TF3 4BZ’ or ‘TF3 4BX’:
This direction is accessible off Junction 5 of the M54 and signposted “Telford Town
Park”. This will bring you to Southwater Multi-Storey and ‘Long-Stay’ Car Parks.
Charges apply for these carparks – and they do accept card payments.
From here it is just a short walk through the Town Park. We are well signposted once
you enter the park, just follow the signs to our main entrance.

7. Limitation of Liability
Exotic Zoo and its team are not responsible for any indirect or unexpected damages
that may result from using our website, services, or experiences. This includes
losses that happen due to circumstances beyond our control, even if we have been
informed of potential risks
8. Indemnity
By using our website and services, you agree to take full responsibility for your
actions. If any claims, damages, or legal issues arise due to your misuse of our
website, participation in experiences, or violation of these terms, you agree to cover
any costs or legal fees that Exotic Zoo may incur.
9. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the
laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these
terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and
Wales.
10. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes
will be effective immediately upon posting on this page. Your continued use of the
website and participation in our experiences after changes are posted constitutes
your acceptance of the modified terms.
