Exotic Boo at the Zoo

We're celebrating Halloween throughout October with a whole selection of events happening all month long!

Beginning Saturday, 4th October, our zoo is having a Halloween makeover. Explore our haunted woods, pick your own pumpkin, and make the most of our usual zoo activities, including the rainforest zone, desert zone, nocturnal area, and farmyard. Halloween activities are included in the ticket price. The half-term mayhem begins on Saturday, 18th, with pumpkin picking, a Creepy Crawly Cave, tarantula meet & greets, bush-tucker trials, and plenty of spooky photo opportunities!

New for 2025, Nighttime at the Zoo, the skies are dark the animals are asleep and something is lurking in the haunted woods...

Home to witches, vampires, zombies, and more, as you ‘trick or treat’ through the woods, meeting our characters along the way. Visit our Creepy Crawly Cave and get up close and personal with some bugs, or step foot into Nocturnal house to see our animals in their natural habitat. Pick up a pumpkin and carve it, leaving us with the mess, or take part in spooky crafts in our Creepy Cafe.
