Animal-Assisted Therapies

Providing therapeutic experiences through animal interactions to enhance health and wellbeing.

Animal-Assisted Therapy

What We Do

We provide animal-assisted therapy and interventions using specially selected and trained animals to benefit the health and wellbeing of individuals from various backgrounds, including those in care homes, dementia wards, and educational settings.

Studies have shown numerous physiological and psychological benefits from human-animal interactions, such as reduced anxiety, lowered blood pressure, enhanced relaxation, and improved social and emotional support. These interactions also offer educational and motivational benefits for participants.

Our Aim

We are committed to being part of our community's health and wellbeing programs. Our goal is to provide valuable and pioneering therapeutic experiences for the most vulnerable and hard-to-reach members of our community.

Our services have shown positive results in care homes and dementia wards, where animal visits encourage mental and physical activity among patients. We also collaborate with local schools and colleges to support adults and children with learning difficulties and disabilities, integrating health and wellbeing benefits alongside education in an engaging manner.
